I'm trying to find a book for my father for christmas, but I don't know what the title is. He says he remembers reading it as a kid (40+ years ago) but isn't quite sure about the title. He says he thought the title was "best of all", and I've found "best of all - a farm story", but I don't think that's it.

he says the only thing he really remembers about this book is that it involved a little boy taking his grandfathers ship in a bottle to school for show and tell.
