201-88 was published in 1992. I have 201-52 which has a row of letters in small case- uvwxyz. This means it is the 47th edition of the title. I would believe your book to be between the two I list above. The value would be 2.00 or less depending on condition.2.00 for a mint book and less for a good book. This title is still in print today which causes the value to be low.
Trying to date and price this LGB named "The Saggy Baggy Elephant" in good condition. Number on front cover indicates 201-54. There are no indications on inside back cover binding. First page indicates Copyright 1947 by Western Publishing Company, Inc. Copyright renewed 1974. All rights..etc. It does not state ANY letters AA BB CC, etc. it only has this roman numberal MCMXCIV Can you help? Thanks!
