99% of what i read when i was younger was lgb's so odds are this one is too, but i'm not sure. it was about a little girl who goes to her friend's house for dinner (or a sleepover maybe) and she is at first sort of closed minded because the family does things different..for example, they ate artichokes at dinner and they popped popcorn on the stove! does this ring any bells? i read it in the very early 90's, could have been published a lot earlier though...thanks!
