I have a Little Black Sambo book and I was curious of it's value. I am considering selling it. Any help?

What year was this published? I have been looking for a copy for my mom. She had one when she was small, but over the years it disappeared. What condition is the book in? What picture is on the front cover? Thanks for any reply

I believe 1948. It's all in one piece. The only damage is to the cover. It looks like it could have gotten damp once. Golden book binding is missing a bit along the outside edge. The picture on the front is the Lion holding an umbrella with his tail, oversizing Sambo, on a trail.

A book that has been damaged has not got a lot of value. Becasue your title is a very collectible one it may have but I cannot give you any price without seeing it first. sorry!
