The title is: "THE MAGIC WISH and other Johnny and Jane Stories" ... before I actually buy the book unseen I'd like to know if it's the book I think it is.
It's a Golden Story Book (GS #2) and therefore contains 4 or 5 stories. I'm remembering the following:
1. A story about a boy who doesn't eat and turns into a shadow. (a drawing of a purplish shadow of him) 2. A drawing of a boy going fishing 3. A drawing of baby's crib 4. A drawing of a boy trying to sneak under a (barbed wire?) fence.
I wish I could remember more. Maybe someone could help me. It's really just a nostalgia thing. I'm not a collector. (I play the cello.)
