My father, LGB illustrator William Dugan, recently died and I've inherited his collection of LGB's.

One of them is rather peculiar. It's cover indicates that it is "We Like Kindergarten" illustrated by Eloise Wilkin and written by Clara Cassidy. But when you open it up, it is really "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer" by Barbara Shook Hazen, illustrated by Richard Scarry, "H" edition.

Does anyone collect binding errors like this one?

There is no value to this type of book. Collectors do like to add them to their collections just as oddities.

Thanks Jamie. I plan to sell most of my father's collection over the next couple of months on Ebay. Here's my first listing (a 1st edition of Ludwig Bemelman's "Madeline.")
