I do not know the value, but I would be interested in purchasing. I had the book when my daughter was a baby, and it since was destroyed in a flooded basement. Now she has a baby boy, and would like to have the book. I also realize that this post is almost 2 years old, so you may not have the book.

Wikipedia places the value of the book (presumably good condition) at $1500. However there are copies on Amazon and ebay in battered condition (some with the magnet still sealed in) ranging in price from 150-1200, though no-one seams to be buying them.

Can anyone tell me the approximate value of a large magnetic Golden Book called"OOKPIK Visits the USA" The magnetic OKPIK is in the original plastic and has not been cut out. I can find nothing about this book on any book site. It is in very good condition. Thank you so much!!!!! Cindy
