Hi All,

We are trying to find a Little Golden Book from my wife's childhood to read to our grandson as a Christmas tradition. She doesn't recall the title of the book, but she said the last page had an illustration of the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center. I know this is a long shot, but would anyone be able to tell me the title of that Little Golden Book?

Any help is much appreciated. Thank you Smile

You may be thinking of "A Year in the City" by Lucy Sprague Mitchell. Illustrations were by Tibor Gergely. The last page in color (not the actual last page which is in black and white) does show a decorated Christmas Tree and to the left there are skaters, although it doesn't appear to be Rockefeller Center specifically. On the back cover this title is #48 and is one of the "Bank Street Book" series for Little Golden Books. It's one of my favorites too!

Try ebay for a copy of this title.

Good luck!
