This title has two different covers. Bear sitting and bear running.The bear running also has a golden spine.A value of the first edition of the running book in mint shape is 10.00. The value of bear sitting first edition inn mint shape is 25.00. Any later edition or poorer condition reduces that price.
My book has the bear running & carrying a fish but it does not have a golden spine???...the book is 11" x 8½"

In regards to your guessing that the book was printed in 1947. I don't know the exact printing of your book but it was sometime after 1958. "Golden Press" was not used until then.

Does anybody have any idea what the value of this book might be? & does anybody want to buy it from me it is in extremely good condition..inside the front cover it says copyright 1944,1947 by Golden Press so i imagine it was printed in 1947 (am i correct?)..Thanks for your help
