I used to read the poky little puppy book to my brother when he was little. Now when I read it to my grankids it seems to be a different story. Did they change the story line and if they did when?
The Poky Little Puppy was originally a 42 page book in 1942-1950. The books pages have been changed to 28 and then 24 pages through the years. The story line was shortened to fit the format.
