This is a tough question...Random House does not hold to a certain way to denote first editions. It uses them all or none. This title was the first of that series to appear in 2001.
My copy has MMI and First Edition 2001. It also has a 2001 copyright. I would guess from that they did not remove the line First Edition 2001 and just kept printing runs.I would guess your copy is a fifth printing run because of the 5 being the first number to the right.
This question will make me more aware of RH markings in each book I see...Thanks!

i have 'How The Turtle Got It's Shell'. on the inside it has 2001 copyright, it says, 1st ED, but then it also has 10 9 8 7 6 5. it also has A MMI as a date.
please help me!
