the items you seek are available on the secondary market. I would first find a record player that works and then amass the book and records. When I give talks to children at school, I often play records. They are amazed!!! they do not know what they are or grandma has them. I would look locally at childrens resale shops and antique malls or search on ebay for the items. Good luck.
i remember having some of the little golden books with records that went with them (three little pigs, gingerbread man, etc) and i am wondering how i might find those again. i LOVED sitting down by myself with my little record player and turning the pages along with the story, and the illustrations are still vivid in my mind. i would love for my 3 year old twins to experience them too! any ideas on how to locate them would be appreciated! thanks!
