I'm looking for a book that I always thought was called "Mugsy" I'm 90% certain it was a little golden book. It's about a girl who lives in an apartment building where she can't have pets, but her uncle gives her a stuffed dog. The dog squeeks in the middle of the night and wakes her up to find a fire; they rescue everyone in the building. Any ideas?
There is an Elf book titled Mugsy-The Make Believe Puppy. Number 537 As I do not collect elf...I am not familiar with the story but it sounds right from the title.Hope this helps......
