Hello All, I am trying to find a book my Father read and sang to me as a child at Christmas. I believe it was titled 'Picnic by the Sea (or Seashore). A bunch of animals got together for a picnic, and "Wally the Whale swam by to give them all a ride..." There was also a part about Ricky Raccoon, who who tried to to take too many cookies out of the cookie jar at once. There was a song in the book, which my Dad sang to the tune of "When Irish Eyes are Smiling" that went something like this: "Oh, Flies get in the honey, sand gets in the tea, but there's nothing quite so jolly as a picnic by the sea..." I don't even know if it was a L.G.B! But, and I know it's late, I would love to find this book for him, somewhere, for Christmas.
