Hello!

I am wondering if anyone can help me. I had a book that I adored as a child & am wondering if indeed it was a Golden Book title or storyline. The premise of the book was a little girl going to the hospital for a tonsillectomy. I cannot remember too many of the specifics but I do know that it ends with her having ice cream at the hospital.

If anyone recognizes this story, I would love help in finding this book.
