If it also had a boy and two rabbits, It's the Little Golden Book "Once Upon A Wintertime". The book is based on the Disney cartoon.

Thanks for your reply. It looks very similar in many ways, but I don't recall a fellow in the story. I specifically remember the sign "Thin Ice" which she skates past which I don't think is in this book.

I just saw the Disney film on youtube which did show the rabbits pointing out the Danger Thin Ice sign. I don't know if there is another book that I had, but this one comes real close. My memory fades, but it does come very close.

Does anybody know the title of a the book about a girl that goes ice skating on a pond and passes right by a sign that says Thin Ice. I don't remember the whole story, but I imagine she runs into trouble and gets saved in the end. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.
