Your 25 cent and 29 cent books should all have an edition letter under the back spine(look carefully) or have the printing inside the front cover. All of these books were marked with edition. the 39 cent books can be unmarked.

Oh thank you so much - as soon as you said "look carefully" I realized I was looking in the wrong place - I was looking on the bottom of the page not under the spine - I lifted the spine a tad and there are the letters!! Thanks!

Hi - I am not clear on how to ID an edition. I have several with 25 cent price and a cpl with 29 cent price but NONE of them have the letter coding on the inside back page nor on copyright page. Does that fact mean they are not 1st's?
