When my older brother was a baby his favorite book had a character named "Herman Hedgehog". My mother is positive it was a Golden Book, but she and my brother have forgotten the name. He loved the story so much his nickname became Herman Hedgehog. Now that he's a grandpa we would love to find this book again so he can read it to his new grandson....Does anybody know the name of this book?
Mom remembered more about the story. It was about a young boy who lost his house to a fire. All of the animals came from the forest to help rebuild. Herman Hedgehog was one of the characters.
