I am looking for a Mother Goose book that my mom remembers from when she was younger. The publishing date is probably in the late 50's or early 60's, and she recalls Peter the Pumpkin Eater being on the cover. She says it was the size of a normal golden book (perhaps 9"x9"), but triple the normal thickness (perhaps 60 pages). I'm hoping to find this for her birthday later this summer, and would appreciate any help regarding title, illustrator, or edition. Thank you!

I'm guessing the book you seek is a giant little golden book. It is the same size but with 56 pages. Number 5007 Mother Goose has a photo of a pumpkin with a girl looking out from a window and a boy sitting on a mushroom talking to her( could be interpreted as peter peter)
