As a child my aunt read me repeatedly a story about an old lady who took her pumpkins to town and sold them to buy popcorn. Then she had all the children in the neighborhood to her house for a popcorn party. The popcorn popped so much it was coming out the doors and windows. The firemen had to come help. I can almost see the picture in the book of this old lady pushing a wheelbarrow full of pumpkins into town to sell. And the picture of the little boy with the old fashioned popcorn popper over the fire in the fireplace. I keep thinking the name of it was something like "Mrs. Poppy's Popcorn Party". I'm thinking it may have been a Golden Book but I was a child. It was my favorite and I'd love to try to find it if I could ever find out the title. Debbie
