I think the book you are talking about is called "Doctor Dan." It has a little boy and girl on the front and the little boy is playing a dr. I can't remember if the girl is the patient or a nurse, but it would be something you could look into.

I just went looking at titles and there is also a book called "Nurse Nancy." Google the books, I am finding a lot of places to find the books.
Hi there. My mother was just discussing with me that as a child she had a Little Golden Book which included a page which read something like "Debbie is a nurse". She cites it as her childhood inspiration to become a nurse, which she now is. I thought it would be great to find this book for her, but am having a hard time. She was born in 1955, so I'm assuming it would have been put out any time between 1948-1966... which I understand is quite a big window...
