Desperately Looking and Loooking for a little kitten book, possibly from late 50's or early 60's. My first book I read as child or memorized it and appeared I was reading as I was only 2. Cant recall if it had 3 or 4 kittens in it (seemed like it was a little family, perhaps in a barnyard??) and basically it ends with a sweet little kitten who was very very sleepy. He yawned and he yawned and Turned around and around, until he fell fast alseep.
Any help would be Hugely appreciated as Ive been looking for a number of years and cant recall the title. Many Thanks
Pat

Four Little Kittens?

The book was called My Kitten. Written by Patsy Scarry and illustrated by Eloise Wilkin. I have a copy that is a 4th printing off a copyright of 1953. It's in fair shape with some minor tears at the bottoms of some pages (no text affected). It is missing the foil off the spine. Wilkin's early work is collectible, while Scarry's is not quite as collectible. The last line reads:

"Then we will go to sleep like two little kittens".

Make me an offer I can't refuse.
