Has anyone determined the history of the cloth covered stories? I have a red cloth covered Scuffy the Tugboat that just has the illustrated front but no additional banners or wording other than the title. Illustration shows Scuffy in the water with butterflys flying around it and an owl on a branch above it. Published by the Golden Press with the copyright noted as 1955, 1946. It is an ex-library book from Hawaii. Has some condition issues (page tears & torn/taped spine over the cloth edge) but I was wondering what the history might be. I do plan to sell it so any ideas as to price and demand would help.
